As part of a larger event with the purpose of popularizing STEM sciences to younger students the School of Young physicists will have a stand with several demonstrations that show general interesting physical phenomenon accompanied by enthusiastic students to explain them to the attending students. The students will also have a chance to do some exercises and partake in small competitions with small prizes.
As a contribution to World Quantum Day, there will also be four short and insightful mini-lectures held in a separate room. The lectures will explain the fundamentals of quantum physics in an intuitive way and dispel some of the myths that are associated with quantum physics.

Jauno Fiziķu Skola piedalīsies lielākā pasākumā ar nolūku jauniem skolniekiem popularizēt eksaktās zinātnes. Jauno Fiziķu skolai būs stends, kurā skolniekiem būs iespēja iepazīties ar vairākiem demonstrējumiem, kas ataino vairākus interesantus fizikālus fenomenus. Stendā arī būs atrodami LU fizikas programmas studenti, kuru uzdevums būs ikvienam interesentam paskaidrot par fiziku, kas zem tiem slēpjas. Skolniekiem arī būs iespēja pildīt nelielus uzdevumus un piedalīties nelielās sacensībās vienam ar otru ar nelielām balvām.
Par godu Pasaules Kvantu Dienai Jauno Fiziķu Skola arī noturēs četras īsas un interesi raisošas mini lekcijas atsevišķā telpā. Tās intuitīvi paskaidros kvantu fizikas pamatus, iepazīstinās klausītājus ar kvantu spēlēm un skaidros dažus no mītiem, kas ir saistīti ar kvantu fiziku.
